Jason fails to convince Sonny that Carly doesn't feel connected to the life she knew before the accident. Meanwhile, Carly summons Alcazar to her room. Carly becomes upset when Alcazar declares that she is in love with him. Remembering her experience with Jason after his accident, Monica warns Alcazar not to push Carly too hard. Sonny presses Carly to remember the love she has for her family. Carly admits to Courtney that she doesn't feel love for the people she is supposed to care about, which Alcazar hears via a bug he planted in Carly's hospital room. Tracy tells Jax she is planning on opening a casino and asks him to become partners with her. Georgie wants to make love with Dillon, but he doesn't want to rush things just because Sage entered their lives. Elizabeth can't bring herself to tell Ric that she slept with Zander.
11/18/03
Carly admits to Courtney that she has developed feelings for Alcazar. Carly resolves to pretend to love Sonny until her real feelings return. Sonny senses a change in Carly. Alcazar finds an upset Carly in the hospital chapel and pulls her into a kiss. Carly is shaken by her feelings for Alcazar. Luke and Skye team up to ruin Jax and Tracy's plan to open a casino. Sam tries to cozy up to Sonny in an effort to get revenge on Jax. Lucky challenges Luke to be a father to Lesley Lu. Dillon is at the end of his rope with Sage, who convinces him to continue the arrangement and be her babysitter. Courtney is surprised when she encounters Brian, who tells her that he has been offered a job with the Port Charles police department.
11/19/03
Luke is stunned when he sees The Haunted Star in the harbor. Sam claims that the yacht belongs to her. Luke informs Tracy that he already has the one gambling permit allowed in Port Charles and intends to turn The Haunted Star into a floating casino. Skye convinces Sam and Luke to work together. Jax vows to destroy Sam. Jason is suspicious when he learns Brian might move to Port Charles. Jason fears that Courtney is becoming too attached to Michael and Morgan. Dillon can't help but be affected by Sage's seductive dance moves. Georgie is determined to fight Sage for Dillon and gives herself a makeover. Georgie and Dillon make plans to spend the night together. Sage acts out at Kelly's and Dillon is forced to rescue her. Mac overhears Dillon telling Sage about his plan to make love with Georgie. Tracy catches a naked Georgie in Dillon's bed.

Carly confesses to Courtney that she doesn't feel love for Sonny. Cameron warns Carly that her brain damage may prevent her feelings from ever returning. Carly privately panics when Sonny tells her that she will be going home soon. Alcazar finds Carly missing from her hospital room. Jax begins to romance Sam as part of his plan to get revenge on her. Jason destroys Faith's drug shipment as a warning for her to back off of Nikolas. Faith has Zander plant a bomb on Nikolas' freighter as an act of retaliation. Nikolas and Emily are about to make love on the ship, unaware of the bomb. Georgie is devastated by Tracy's insults. Tracy demands that Dillon stop seeing Georgie, who she views as not being good enough for him. Later, Sage goads Georgie into a fight.

Carly secretly returns to the penthouse but hides in order to avoid seeing Sonny and Michael. Carly remains conflicted about her feelings for Sonny and Alcazar as she remembers the dream she had while in a coma. Sonny remains certain that Carly will return to him. Alcazar insists that Marcella leave town immediately to avoid Carly seeing her. Carly arrives at Alcazar's door. Nikolas and Emily discover the bomb and realize they're trapped on the freighter. Zander arrives on the freighter to rescue Nikolas and Emily as the bomb explodes. Jax is confident that Sam is falling for his act of pretending to be developing feelings for her. Sam, however, is confident that she will be able to dupe Jax. Georgie becomes angry and storms out when Dillon appears to believe Sage's lies.

Sonny bars Alcazar from Carly's hospital room after Tony informs him that Carly is suffering emotional pain in her coma. A comatose Carly dreams of walking out on Alcazar after he kills Sonny. Zander orders Faith's men to release Nikolas but warns him to watch his back. Jason wants Courtney to return home with him after Brian reveals he knows the truth about Jason's line of work but she refuses. Courtney and Jason make love before he is called back to Port Charles on business. Zander pulls a gun on Jason when he threatens Faith. Faith kisses Zander after he forces Jason to leave. An unseen person leaves newspaper clippings about Brian's past on Courtney's doorstep. Dillon accuses Sage of seeking attention after pulling her from the water. Dillon reluctantly takes Sage back to the mansion. Sage hides under Dillon's bed when Georgie comes in through the window. Dillon is forced to put the brakes on Georgie's passion when she wants to make love for the first time. Sam tests the luck of the Dead Man's Hand at the casino, but ends up a loser. Jax hits it big and wins a yacht, which he gives to Sam. Jax and Sam make love.

Dillon encounters Sage on the docks and discovers she is carrying a gun. Later, in the empty courtroom, Alexis finds herself held at gunpoint by Sage. Sage explains she is the daughter of Luis Alcazar, the man Alexis killed. Dillon arrives just as Sage fires her gun at Alexis. In court, Luke insists he intentionally murdered Stefan and dismisses Nikolas' attempt to exonerate him. Skye questions Luke as to why he is determined to throw his life away. Emily finds a letter Stefan left for Nikolas, who learns it is Stefan's suicide note containing details which would clear Luke of the murder charge. Nikolas shows the letter to Luke, who claims it is a forgery. Jax arrives at the hospital too late to give John the Dead Man's Hand before John dies. Sam privately feels guilty for earlier sabotaging Jax's car, which delayed him from getting to John. Jason warns Emily that Zander's life is in danger because of his alliance with Faith. Courtney learns she is living in Brian's old house. Courtney asks Brian about his wife and child.

Alan asks Jason to help Sonny face the fact that Carly may never wake up. Sonny becomes angry with Jason when he suggests Carly may not recover while insisting Carly would want Sonny to get on with his life. Sonny later apologizes to Jason but refuses to sign the papers transferring Carly to a long-term care facility. A comatose Carly dreams of reconciling with Alcazar and spending the rest of her life with him. Back in reality, Carly awakens and sees Alcazar standing over her. Brian tells Courtney that his wife and son were killed by a drunk driver. Courtney feels wistful when she realizes she will never have the simple life that Brian enjoyed with his family. Sam comforts Jax over John's death and they make love. Jax learns that Sam sabotaged his car, which prevented him from getting to John in time. After speaking with Emily, Nikolas gives Stefan's suicide note to Scott. Luke challenges Scott to destroy the suicide note and send him to prison. Sage empties her gun at Alexis as Dillon arrives. Dillon grabs the gun from Sage, who reveals she was firing blanks. Dillon turns with the gun in his hand as Lucky arrives. Lucky shoots Dillon in the arm. Lucky is forced to turn in his police badge and gun. Georgie sees Sage kiss Dillon.

After Carly comes out of her coma, Sonny explains how he accidentally shot her. Bobbie senses that something is not quite right with Carly, who remains slightly distant. Carly remains privately troubled about the dream she had while in the coma. Alcazar tells Carly that his love saved her. Brian impulsively kisses Courtney. Jason arrives to take Courtney, Michael and Morgan home. An angry Jax blames Sam for his father's death. Sam is crushed when Jax coldly walks out on her. Sam leaves the Dead Man's Hand and a written apology for Jax. Tracy steals the cards and destroys Sam's letter to Jax. Nikolas declares to Luke that he is ending the Spencer/Cassadine war once and for all. Luke is furious when Scott releases him from jail. Skye challenges Luke to end his self-destructive behavior. Georgie is shocked to learn that Sage is Alcazar's niece but doesn't tell Dillon.

Sonny refuses to listen to Jason's warning that Carly needs time to adjust before seeing her family. Meanwhile, Carly orders Alcazar out of her room. Carly goes through the motions of mothering Michael and Morgan but is privately disturbed. Sonny promises Carly that he is going legit and apologizes for all he has put her through. Jason tells Sonny that Carly is pretending to have feelings for her family that don't exist anymore. Carly calls Alcazar and asks to see him. Jax banishes Sam from John's funeral. Sam realizes someone stole the Dead Man's Hand. Meanwhile, Tracy informs Dillon that she got the cards on her own and tells him that he needs guidance in his life. Tracy doesn't approve of Georgie. Sam catches Tracy leaving one of the cards for Jax. Jax returns to find Sam and Tracy at each other's throats. Sage begs Alcazar not to send her back to boarding school and let her live with him. Wanting to be independent of Tracy, Dillon asks Alcazar for a job. Alcazar hires Dillon to be Sage's fulltime companion and bodyguard. Zander begins beating Nikolas per Faith's orders. Emily witnesses and knocks Zander unconscious from behind. Emily has Zander arrested in order to protect him from himself.

Sonny tells Jason that he is walking away from their business in an effort to keep Carly and his family safe. Courtney becomes alarmed when Jason announces that he is going to take over for Sonny. Courtney fails to convince Jason to walk away from his dangerous life. Courtney tells Jason that she is leaving with Michael and Morgan. A comatose Carly dreams of both Sonny and Alcazar. Zander is devastated when he finds Emily and Nikolas making love at the cottage. Zander washes his hands of Emily, who realizes she only wants to be with Nikolas. A hurting Elizabeth and Zander encounter each other at Jake's and end up kissing in his room. Luke is arrested. Sam is summoned to a meeting with Chase, a man from her past who claims to have stolen the Dead Man's Hand. Chase offers to give Sam the cards in exchange for one night alone with her.

Sonny agrees to allow Courtney to take Michael and Morgan away from Port Charles for their protection. Jason is opposed to Courtney's decision. Courtney is devastated when Jason walks away from her. Carly dreams that she is pregnant with Alcazar's child. In Carly's dream, Sonny vows that he will win her away from Alcazar. Jax stops Sam from sleeping with Chase in order to get the cards. Jax denies to Sam that he has feelings for her. Elizabeth tells Emily that she slept with Zander and explains her reasons for doing so.
11/05/03
A comatose Carly dreams of spending time with Sonny, which angers Alcazar. Courtney gets settled into her new house outside of Port Charles with Michael and Morgan and meets Brian, the repairman. Courtney calls the police after mistakenly believing she heard gunshots and is surprised when Brian turns out to be the sheriff. Alcazar insists to Sonny that he is helping Carly recover. Alcazar challenges Sonny and wonders if Sonny would rather have Carly remain in a coma instead of allowing Alcazar to try and reach her. Zander tells Emily off when she tries to apologize to him. Zander agrees to work for Faith after learning she is out to ruin the Cassadines. Ned takes the stand at Alexis' trial. Ned shocks everyone when he announces that he will not press charges against Alexis. Sage, a teenaged girl, follows Alexis armed with a gun.

The doctor informs Sonny that Carly's brain activity increases during Alcazar's visits. Sonny has no choice but to allow Alcazar to spend time with Carly. A comatose Carly dreams of saving Sonny's life after Alcazar orders him to be killed. Courtney and Brian share an easy rapport. Brian leans that Courtney is married to Jason. Brian begins checking into Jason's past and is surprised by the extent of his arrest record. Jason arrives at Courtney's door. Dillon turns to Luke for advice on how to get the Dead Man's Hand back from whoever stole it. Meanwhile, Chase agrees to sell the cards to Jax. Dillon manages to steal the cards from Chase. Dillon is unsure whether to give the cards to Luke or to Tracy. Ned relinquishes custody of Kristina to Alexis. A furious Skye breaks up with Ned. Skye offers to help Luke get out of jail in exchange for him helping her destroy the Quartermaines. A gun toting Sage continues to follow Alexis.

While comatose, Carly dreams that Sonny helps her deliver her and Alcazar's baby. Back in reality, Sonny orders Alcazar away from Carly, who opens her eyes. Faith informs Sonny that she is taking over The Cellar. Nikolas learns that Faith is now holding the note for the Cassadine's debt and that she will no longer allow Jason to make the interest payments. Faith wants to use Nikolas' new ship to transport drugs. Emily and Nikolas are shocked and disgusted to see Zander working for Faith. Courtney is thrilled when Jason arrives but still insists she can't return to Port Charles with Michael and Morgan. Jason meets Brian, who has already researched Jason's criminal record. Brian warns Jason not to bring violence to his town. Dillon gives the Dead Man's Hand to Jax. Sam stows away in Jax's car as he goes to see his parents. Sam strands herself and Jax in the desert.

After being shot by Sonny, Alcazar drags himself out of the house and into the woods. Sonny delivers Morgan, his and Carly's son. Sonny admits to an arriving Jason that he shot Carly, who is rushed to the hospital. Marcella finds Alcazar in the woods and takes him back to the house as the paramedics arrive. Elizabeth begins to soften towards Ric after he comes to Jason's aide. Sonny must decide whether or not to authorize surgery which could endanger Carly's life, but which she will almost certainly not survive without. Jason has the doctors examine Morgan, who is healthy. Courtney holds Morgan. Nikolas makes inroads with Emily. Skye insists to Luke she won't help him find the remaining cards in the Dead Man's Hand. Jax catches Luke breaking into his penthouse. Skye finds Sam lurking in Dillon's bedroom.
10/28/03
Sonny gives his consent for Carly to be operated on immediately to remove the bullet from her brain. Sonny breaks down when he holds Morgan for the first time. Sonny's heart breaks when Michael accuses him of hurting Carly. Sonny soothes Michael. Courtney suggests that she and Jason take care of Morgan until Carly's medical crisis is over. Alcazar refuses to press charges against Sonny. Marcella tells Alcazar that she isn't leaving town. Sonny learns that Carly is in a coma and may have suffered brain damage. Ric arrests Sonny on charges of attempted murder. Jax and Luke argue about Skye, each accusing the other of using her. Skye takes Sam back to Jax after finding her in Dillon's room. Sam drugs Jax and steals his two cards from the Dead Man's Hand. Skye knocks Lucky unconscious as he is about to arrest Luke. Luke begins to see Skye in a new light.
10/29/03
Marcella tries to convince Alcazar to give up his obsession with Carly. Sonny is released from jail on bail. Sonny and Alcazar both try to get through to a comatose Carly, who experiences a dream in which she ends up with Alcazar instead of Sonny. Jason assures Courtney that she will make a great mother one day. Sam spies on Dillon and Georgie and learns that Georgie is keeping the three remaining cards for Dillon. Jax offers Dillon three million dollars for his cards. Meanwhile, Sam cons Georgie and manages to steal Dillon's cards. Jax fears that Sam destroyed all the cards from the Dead Man's Hand. Elizabeth walks away from Ric when she believes he hasn't given up his vendetta against Sonny. Ric forces Elizabeth to see the situation in a different light and they end up in a kiss.
10/30/03
A disguised Luke steals the Dead Man's Hand from Sam. Luke attends the Halloween costume ball dressed as a magician after offering to auction off the cards to all those who want them. Emily tells Zander and Nikolas that Lucky will be her date for the costume ball. While comatose, Carly dreams of a parallel universe in which she falls in love with Alcazar. Jason attends a meeting of the five families in Sonny's place. Faith arranges for a massacre at the meeting and Jason dives for cover as the bullets fly. Faith tells Sonny that she is in charge now.

Jason survives Faith's massacre at the warehouse. Meanwhile, Faith informs Sonny that he will do as she says or suffer the consequences. Sonny is relieved to see Jason. Sonny confronts Faith and is ready to kill her but can't go through with it after having a flashback to shooting Carly. Courtney is hit by the realities of being married to someone like Jason. A comatose Carly continues to dream of romance with Alcazar. Luke assembles Jax, Skye, Sam, AJ, Dillon and Georgie at Luke's Place to auction off the Dead Man's Hand. Skye leaves the auction in an angry huff. Jax makes the winning bid and gets the cards from Luke. Luke, Jax, AJ, Sam, Dillon and Georgie are overcome by an odorless gas being piped through the vent at Luke's. Someone dressed in an astronaut costume steals the Dead Man's Hand. Emily declares her love for Nikolas at the costume ball. Nikolas follows Emily to the cottage and they begin to make love for the first time. Elizabeth enjoys her time at the ball with Ric.

Sonny suspects that Alcazar is responsible for "Lily's" visits. Carly reaches her breaking point and walks out on Sonny. Carly falls down the stairs as she explores the house Sonny bought for her. Sonny is desperate to find Carly and reconcile with her. Elizabeth defends Ric to Jason. Alcazar accuses Sonny of hurting Carly. Ned wants to get back together with Skye. Skye reluctantly agrees to help Luke steal from the Quartermaines. As Skye distracts Ned, Luke searches the Quartermaine's den and finds the ace of spades from the Dead Man's Hand. Jax sets out to teach Sam how to act like a lady. AJ sees through Sam's act and orders Coleman to befriend her to find out what she and Jax are up to. Edward resolves to send Dillon to military school. Dillon promises Georgie that he won't leave her.

Sonny and Jason search for Carly. Meanwhile, Carly lies unconscious at the foot of the stairs in her new home. Elizabeth warns Ric not to get involved with Sonny and Carly. Ric questions Sonny about Carly's disappearance. After getting a lead, Jason and Sonny storm Alcazar's jet looking for Carly but find Marcella instead. An unseen person finds Carly as she goes into labor. Coleman encounters Sam at Jake's and begins to befriend her. As a hidden Luke listens, Jax asks Skye if she saw any antique playing cards at the Quartermaine mansion and explains their significance. Jax takes the jack of diamonds back from Sam.
10/22/03
Sonny and Jason question Marcella, who confirms Alcazar's obsession with Carly. Courtney finds Carly, who convinces her to go and get help after they're unable to get a signal on their cell phones. Courtney manages to reach Jason, but crashes her car before she can tell him where Carly is. Alone, Carly's labor intensifies. Sonny and Alcazar hold each other at gunpoint and fire their weapons as the storm knocks out the power. Dillon and Georgie fail in their efforts to stop Dillon from being sent to military school. Resigned to the fact Dillon will be leaving the next day, Georgie and Dillon decide to make love. Nikolas wants to take Emily away and they kiss. After speaking with Gia, Zander decides to fight for his marriage. Emily stops Nikolas and Zander's growing argument by announcing she shouldn't be with either of them. Lucky reaches out to Lydia as a friend and they end up dancing.

Alcazar escapes from Sonny. Capelli finds an unconscious Courtney and calls Alcazar. Courtney tells Alcazar where to find Carly but passes out again before she can tell Jason. Alcazar finds Carly about to give birth. Courtney tells Sonny that Carly is at the new house with Alcazar. Zander and Nikolas decide to fight for Emily and set the ground rules. Monica gives Emily the good news that her cancer appears to be in remission. Emily tells Nikolas and Zander that she's going to go to medical school. Edward interrupts Georgie and Dillon as they are on the verge of making love. Georgie is crushed when she mistakenly believes Dillon lied to her about leaving for military school in order to get her into bed. Sam sneaks into the mansion and listens as Dillon gets a call from Tracy and tells her that he succeeded in stealing three playing cards from AJ. Sam later confronts Dillon.

Carly forces Alcazar to promise to save her baby's life over her own should the situation arise. Alcazar declares his love for Carly. Sonny battles the storm and arrives at the house to hear Carly scream but is unaware she's suffering labor pains. Sonny races inside and shoots Alcazar when he thinks he's hurting Carly. Sonny delivers Carly's baby. Carly loses consciousness and Sonny realizes she has a bullet wound in her head. Skye steals Luke's card from the Dead Man's Hand and later gives it to Jax, which a hidden Sam sees. Sam is hurt as she listens to Jax compliment Skye. Luke asks Dillon to help him find the remaining cards. Dillon doesn't reveal to Luke that he has the cards. Jax and Sam argue but end up in a kiss. Dillon tells Georgie about the cards and voices his confusion about helping Tracy or helping Luke. Georgie offers to hide the cards in her bedroom.

Jason and Courtney are married in front of Sonny and Carly in France. Thinking Sonny will be traveling alone, Alcazar arranges to sabotage Sonny's private jet as he flies home from France. Alcazar is horrified to learn Carly is on board the jet. Sonny and Carly face a crisis while in the air. Jax and Sam find themselves in the middle of Ned and Skye's argument. Jax is stunned when Sam announces that she is moving in with him. Lucky arrests Luke for killing Stefan. Alone with Emily, Nikolas gives into his grief. Luke escapes while being taken to jail and later grabs Skye.
10/14/03
Sonny and Carly fear they might not survive when their plane begins to lose fuel. Sonny and Carly share poignant goodbyes with Jason, Courtney and Michael. Meanwhile, Alcazar is devastated to think he might be responsible for Carly's death. After making a safe landing, Carly tries to convince Sonny that nothing bad will happen to her or the baby by his being around them. Sonny still believes he's a danger to Carly and walks away. Marcella packs her bags and leaves Alcazar. Skye doesn't turn Luke in when Ned arrives at the lake house. Skye and Luke form an unlikely alliance. Jax and Sam challenge each other to find the remaining cards in the dead man's hand. Sam pulls Jax into a kiss to avoid trouble with the manager and then accuses Jax of enjoying their closeness too much.

Jason and Courtney are surprised when Sonny announces that he is moving in with them temporarily. Carly refuses to move into the new home Sonny bought for her and Michael. Alcazar warns Faith that she had better find Marcella. Dillon covers for Marcella when Alcazar comes looking for her. Georgie is pleased when Dillon ends his association with Alcazar. Marcella arrives outside of Sonny's penthouse. Johnny is revealed to be working for Alcazar. Skye continues to hide Luke at the lake house. Luke plans on attending Stefan's memorial service. Scott is certain he'll be able to catch and arrest Luke at the service. Alexis reacts coldly to the news of Stefan's death but later lets Cameron hold her.
10/16/03
Alcazar grabs Marcella before Carly sees her. Johnny secretly leaves a letter from "Lily" for Sonny at the penthouse. Faith wants to distance herself from Sonny and Alcazar's war. Jason begins to suspect that Johnny is working for Alcazar. Sonny encounters Marcella as Lily. Sonny realizes he is being set up after Marcella slips up in answering one of his questions. Carly arranges a meeting with Alcazar in an effort to make Sonny jealous. Everyone is shocked when Helena arrives at Stefan's memorial service. Skye arrives at the service with a mysterious figure shrouded in black, which turns out to be Dillon, much to Scott's surprise. Luke watches the service disguised as a gravedigger. Nikolas catches Luke standing over Stefan's coffin after the service concludes. Jax and Sam become suspicious of AJ. Sam sneaks into the Quartermaine mansion searching for the playing cards and is caught by Jax. AJ catches both Sam and Jax inside the mansion.

Carly backs away from using Alcazar to try and make Sonny jealous. Sonny becomes furious when Carly admits she called Alcazar to arrange a meeting. Michael interrupts Sonny and Carly's argument. Jason confronts Johnny and demands to know what Alcazar is up to. Sonny refuses to let Carly walk out on him. Alcazar pays Marcella to leave town, telling her he no longer needs her help. Jax covers his real reason for being at the mansion by telling AJ that Sam is his girlfriend. Sam goes one step further and claims to be an heiress. Jax realizes he needs to teach Sam how to be a lady if they are going to be able to act like a believable couple as they search for the dead man's hand. Nikolas tells Luke that he is ending the war between the Spencers and Cassadines. Skye warns Dillon not to try and be a bad boy like Luke. Luke wants Skye to help him steal from the Quartermaines. Zander hears Nikolas and Emily talking about their future together.

At the cemetery, Marcella, as Lily, warns Sonny that something is going to happen to Carly and her baby and that it will be Sonny's fault. Alcazar wants to manipulate Sonny into leaving Carly. Marcella feels sympathy for Sonny. Jason becomes suspicious when he discovers "Lily's" footprints at the cemetery. Luke finds Stefan guilty of murder at his "trial" and turns him over to Mac. Stefan is released on bail. Nikolas tells Stefan he never wants to see him again. Stefan's life is in danger when a fire breaks out at Wyndemere while he tries to thwart Capelli's assassination attempt. Jax and Sam find themselves stranded on an island, where Sam reluctantly agrees to a truce. Jax catches Sam as she tries to steal the Jack of Diamonds playing card.

Sonny becomes angry when Jason voices his belief that Lily's ghost isn't real. Courtney agrees to go away with Jason. Bobbie throws a surprise party for Carly and Sonny but Carly arrives alone. Meanwhile, Sonny goes to the cemetery where he asks Marcella, as Lily, how he can save Carly and her baby. Marcella feels guilty about torturing Sonny. Zander confesses to Emily that he almost slept with Carly while she was away. Sam is menaced by two surfers. A hidden Jax learns the men are after the playing card. AJ, who has the other four playing cards in the dead man's hand, is determined to get the Jack of Diamonds. Georgie, acting out of love, tells Ned that Dillon is working for Alcazar. Stefan is hospitalized with burn injuries to his face. Bobbie stops Luke from killing Stefan.

After speaking with "Lily," Sonny fears something is going to happen to Carly at Luke's. Sonny forces Carly to come home with him. Alcazar is pleased by Sonny's paranoia. Sonny tells Carly he is leaving in order to keep her safe. Emily is taken aback when she learns Zander and Elizabeth once slept together. Zander accuses Emily of looking for an excuse to walk away from their marriage. Stefan, with his face scarred, escapes from the hospital and hides at Wynedemere, where he drags Lydia into the tunnels. Lydia flatly rejects Stefan when he tells her he is going to sire her child. Lucky warns Luke not to go after Stefan. Jax overpowers the would be thieves and learns they are working for someone in upstate New York. Sam leaves Jax stranded on the island with the now restrained thieves.

Jason and Courtney enjoy their romantic getaway to France. Jason asks Courtney to marry him. Lydia tells Zander that Nikolas filed for divorce. Zander stuns Emily when he announces that their marriage is over. Nikolas promises not to pressure Emily into deciding between him and Zander, who sees them in an embrace. Lucky arrests Luke for assaulting Nikolas in order to prevent Luke from trying to find and murder a fugitive Stefan. Luke vows to continue his vendetta against Stefan. Stefan ties Lydia up in the tunnels. Lucky finds Lydia, but is knocked unconscious by Stefan and tied up in Lydia's place. Stefan informs Lydia that they are going to sleep together to conceive a child with or without her consent. Ric manipulates Scott into naming him Assistant District Attorney in an effort to win Elizabeth's respect. Georgie tries to make up with a hurt and unforgiving Dillon. Edward gives Dillon advice and he later softens towards Georgie

Sonny warns Alcazar to stay away from Carly. Courtney agrees to marry Jason in France. Courtney is thrilled when Jason arranges for Sonny and Carly to attend their private wedding ceremony. Not able to accept her feelings for Nikolas, Zander walks away from Emily. Emily gets good news regarding her health and Nikolas pulls her into a kiss. Luke doesn't untie Lucky, who tells him that Stefan has Lydia. Luke rescues Lydia from Stefan but Lucky's arrival prevents Luke from killing Stefan. Stefan runs off with Luke in pursuit. Lucky takes off after Luke. Luke and Stefan struggle over the knife. Stefan allows himself to be impaled on Luke's knife, claiming Luke's life is also over. AJ is pleased that Jax returned to town, knowing he possesses the Jack of Diamonds. Jax catches Sam in his hotel room posing as a maid.

Carly saves Alcazar's life and gets him home with Dillon and Georgie's help. Sonny believes his continued visions of "Lily" mean he will lose Carly and their unborn baby. Sonny accuses Carly of having feelings for Alcazar when she explains why she saved Alcazar's life. Not knowing the facts, Stefan admits to Nikolas that he killed Alcazar. Nikolas severs all ties with Stefan. Jason informs Nikolas and Stefan that Alcazar is alive and wants to turn Stefan over to him. Elizabeth begins to soften towards Ric but the moment is broken when Ric lashes out at Courtney. Elizabeth accepts Courtney's heartfelt apology for causing the accident. Zander overhears Emily admitting to Skye that she still has feelings for Nikolas.
Carly tries to convince a jealous Sonny that she doesn't have feelings for Alcazar. Alcazar explains to Marcella why he is certain Carly will leave Sonny for him. Sonny reaches out to touch "Lily," but stops when Carly calls out to him. Jason informs Alcazar that Stefan was the person who tried to kill him. Alcazar orders Capelli to kill Stefan. Zander appeals to Cameron, Skye and Ned to put aside their differences for Kristina's sake. Jax heads to the desert after receiving a distressing call about his father, realizing that John has lost his will to live. Jax finds John clutching a Jack of Diamonds playing card.
Luke returns to town and goes ballistic upon learning that Lucky has joined the police force. The murder charge against Stefan is dropped due to a technicality. Luke vows to make Stefan pay for Summer's murder. Cameron agrees to move into Alexis' spare room with Kristina but refuses to allow Alexis unsupervised visits with Kristina. Emily and Zander want to make their marriage work. Sonny admits to Carly that he has been seeing Lily's ghost. Marcella later appears before Sonny once again as Lily. John explains to Jax the significance of the Jack of Diamonds playing card and says they are part of the lucky "dead man's hand," of which the rest were stolen. Jax promises to reclaim the other four cards in the hand for his father. To that end, Jax heads to a bar, where he encounters Sam, a beautiful, gutsy young woman.
Sonny has another sighting of "Lily" in the cemetery, which Faith also sees. Jason, Carly and Courtney try to convince Sonny that he isn't seeing ghosts. Michael returns home with a chilling message from "Lily" for Sonny. Coleman saves Stefan from being murdered by Capelli. Luke summons Alexis, Nikolas, Emily, Zander and Lydia for a mysterious meeting. Luke abducts Stefan with plans to put him on "trial" for murder. Dillon is rewarded when he passes information along to Alcazar. Jax beats Sam in a poker game and she later arrives at his hotel room to make good on her wager. Jax questions Sam about the "dead man's hand." Sam steals the Jack of Diamonds from Jax, who is summoned back to the bar by a mysterious caller. Jax learns Sam shares the same last name as the man who killed Bill Hickock when Bill held the "dead man's hand." Jax is knocked unconscious when he arrives at the bar without the playing card and the mysterious caller is revealed to be AJ, who is on a mission to find the "dead man's hand."

Sonny is disturbed when he sees a woman with a disfigured face on his terrace, who suddenly disappears. Sonny confronts Faith, who denies any wrongdoing but later tells Alcazar that their plan is working. Sonny finds Carly's name on Lily's headstone. Dillon and Georgie suffer through a series of mishaps as they prepare to make love for the first time. Dillon admits to Georgie that he too is a virgin. Mac arrives at Georgie and Dillon's room. Nikolas breaks up with Lydia as part of his and Jason's plan to force Alcazar to make his move. After seeing the photos of Nikolas and Emily, Zander attacks Nikolas. After accusing Emily of having slept with Nikolas, Zander demands that Emily choose between him and Nikolas. Capelli enters Nikolas' hospital room preparing to kill him.
Sonny continues to be haunted and fears he is losing his grip on reality, but doesn't tell Carly about the strange sightings. Carly's arrival thwarts Capelli's plan to kill Nikolas. Nikolas tells Jason that he is going to ask Emily to marry him as soon as Alcazar is out of the picture. Emily insists to Zander that she wants to be married to him. Emily and Zander return to the cottage, but their relationship is strained. Georgie points out to Mac that she loves Dillon and is going to be responsible about their lovemaking. Mac remains calm while suggesting that Georgie only wants to sleep with Dillon because she feels abandoned by Felicia. Alone with Dillon, Georgie realizes Mac might have been playing mind games with her. With the mood broken, Georgie and Dillon decide to wait for another time to make love.
After failing to convince Nikolas that she loves him, Lydia leaves Wyndemere and moves in with Lucky, who isn't pleased by her arrival. Nikolas confronts Alcazar, who agrees to meet him at Wyndemere. Jason and Nikolas plan on killing Alcazar when he arrives at Wyndemere. Skye confronts a disguised Cindy, who is visiting Stefan at the police station. Per Stefan's orders, Cindy confesses that she lied about Ned raping her and claims Alexis forced her to make the false statement. Meanwhile, Cameron asks Emily and Zander to watch Kristina at their cottage. Kristina's presence helps Emily and Zander move slightly closer. Alexis is arrested as she is visiting Kristina. While walking home after getting baby supplies, Emily is accosted on the docks.
Nikolas and Jason realize that Alcazar is going after Emily. Meanwhile, Capelli, with his face hidden and voice disguised, threatens Emily on the docks and leaves her with a warning for Nikolas. Jason agrees to cover Nikolas' interest payments to Alcazar. Emily explains to Jason why she's decided to stay in her marriage to Zander. Emily and Zander continue to bridge the gap between them. Alcazar is pleased with the progress he's making in driving Sonny over the edge. Nikolas informs a stunned Stefan that the money Stefan borrowed came from Alcazar. Acting as Ned's attorney, Ric informs a jailed Alexis that Ned is suing her on a variety of grounds. Stefan hires Ric, who gets him released on bail. Alexis is threatened with disbarment.
Alcazar informs Faith that he is going forward with his next move against Sonny immediately. Sonny gives Jason the go-ahead to eliminate Alcazar permanently. Courtney later sees Jason and Nikolas together and fails to get answers from Jason. Courtney tells Carly she fears Jason is going to kill Alcazar. Jason sees someone attacking Alcazar. Jason tells Courtney that someone else killed Alcazar. Nikolas surprises Stefan and wonders what Stefan is up to. Carly finds a nearly dead Alcazar in the alley. At The Cellar, Faith confronts Sonny, who orders her to leave. Alone, Sonny is shocked when he sees Lily standing before him. AJ gives Dillon a hard time at ELQ. Georgie tells Maxie that she and Dillon are in love but decided to wait to make love. Georgie and Dillon make a pact to abstain from sex. After returning to the penthouse, Sonny questions Carly about her whereabouts. Jason tries to convince Courtney that she didn't hit Elizabeth with her car. Ric overhears Courtney speaking with Elizabeth and later accuses Courtney of being the driver who hit Elizabeth. Alcazar begins researching Lily's death in the car explosion. Ned is arrested after Cindy accuses him of raping her. Alexis returns home with proof that Stephen killed Darius to cover his role in Summer's murder. Stephen warns Alexis that he will frame her for Ned's set up if she doesn't have him acquitted of the murder charge he faces
Courtney confronts Alcazar with questions about the night of Elizabeth's accident. Carly comes clean with Sonny, then Jason, and she explains Alcazar saw Courtney hit Elizabeth and tells them how she tried to destroy Courtney's car. Max tells them the police found the car. Jason then tells Courtney Alcazar claims to have seen Courtney hit Elizabeth. Alcazar enlists the help of his associate Julian in his latest move against Sonny. Alcazar later meets with a blonde prostitute. Ric uses tough love to try and keep Elizabeth's fighting spirit alive after seeing her frustration during her sightless therapy lesson. Zander explains to Emily that he rented the cottage in order to prove that Nikolas can't affect their future. Alexis asks Zander to help her expose Cindy's lies against Ned. Alone at the cottage during a power failure, Emily calls Nikolas for help. Emily and Nikolas are drawn into a kiss as someone secretly photographs them.
Carly and Sonny tell Jason and Courtney that the police have found Courtney's car and try to convince her she had nothing to do with the accident and that Alcazar is using her to get to Carly. Meanwhile, Ric tells Scott that Courtney hit Elizabeth. Jason takes Courtney to a safe house when Scott and Mac arrive to arrest her. Jason vows to get to the bottom of Elizabeth's accident. Courtney leaves the safe house and confesses to Scott that she hit Elizabeth. Julian performs facial surgery on the prostitute Alcazar was with earlier in the week. Alcazar forces Faith to help him in his plan against Sonny. A hidden Capelli snaps photos of Emily and Nikolas. Emily and Nikolas stop themselves from making love and realize it isn't safe for them to be alone together. Lydia vows to fight for Nikolas. Per Alexis' request, Zander begins to try and get closer to Cindy. Nikolas misinterprets the situation when he sees Zander and Cindy together
Carly angers Alcazar when she accuses him of helping Courtney in order to win Carly's favor. Alcazar later arrives at the police station and claims that he saw a male car thief run Elizabeth down. The charges against Courtney are dropped. Jason wants to know what Alcazar is up to. Alexis, Skye and Ned are shocked when Judge Farmer decides to place Kristina in foster care. Alexis, Skye and Ned are even more shocked when the judge changes her mind and awards Cameron temporary custody of Kristina. AJ replaces Ned at ELQ and stands up to Edward. While arguing with Ric, Elizabeth begins to see shadows and light. Elizabeth starts to soften towards Ric. Dillon offers to back off his relationship with Georgie when he feels responsible for her getting a less than perfect grade on a test. Dillon and Georgie are unable to stay away from each other. Georgie tells Dillon she is ready to sleep with him.
Sonny is sickened when grave robbers vandalize Lily's grave and steal her corpse. Sonny sees this as a bad omen for his and Carly's unborn baby. Meanwhile, Carly survives a minor scare with the baby and is ordered to stay in the hospital overnight. Sonny returns home and is stunned to see the ghostly vision of a woman with a disfigured face an believes thatit is lily. Capelli is revealed to be working for Alcazar and anonymously sends Lydia the photos he took of Nikolas and Emily. Emily finds a badly beaten Nikolas on the docks. Lydia warns Emily to stay away from Nikolas. Emily asks Jason to help Nikolas. Jason and Nikolas team up against Alcazar. Nikolas tells Lydia he is going to file for divorce. Georgie and Dillon anticipate their night together at the Port Charles Hotel. Georgie assures Maxie that she is ready to take the next step with Dillon.

Faith is pleased when she finds Elizabeth unconscious after being hit by a car. Ric makes plans to leave town, and agrees to allow Faith to go with him. At the hospital, Elizabeth accuses Ric of having hit her with his car and Ric is arrested. Sonny accuses Faith of being the one who hit Elizabeth and points out a dent in her car. Faith informs Sonny that the damaged car belongs to Ric. Sonny can't shake his fears that tragedy will strike his and Carly's unborn child. Wanting to ease her pain, Jason reaches out to Courtney, who agrees to go to the island with him. Although greatly moved by its significance, Emily returns the bracelet to Nikolas. Emily explains to Nikolas why she is going to honor her marriage vows to Zander. Ned finds Cindy, the minor Stefan hired, in his bed and orders her to leave. AJ takes great interest in the situation and plans on using it against Ned.
The evidence against Ric mounts as Sonny informs Scott of the damage to Ric's car. Meanwhile, Kyle tells Maxie, Georgie and Dillon that he saw a blond woman standing over Elizabeth's unconscious body. At the hospital, Dillon protects Elizabeth, whose eyes remain bandaged, from Faith as Georgie calls security. A gun toting Faith forces Dillon to leave with her. At Maxie's urging, Kyle goes to Scott and exonerates Ric while implicating Faith in Elizabeth's hit and run. On the island, Jason consoles Courtney while assuring her that he will love her forever after she voices her fears that she will lose him. Nikolas, Emily and Lucky rally around Elizabeth. Alone with Nikolas, Elizabeth voices her belief that he and Emily are in love with each other and that Emily's marriage will fail. Nikolas is pained when he sees Emily and Zander kissing.
Carly tries to dispel Sonny's fears about the future where their unborn child is concerned and arranges for them to attend a parenting class. Sonny learns that Alcazar called Carly wanting to meet her at The Cellar and later confronts him. Carly fears the worst after realizing that Sonny went to see Alcazar. Faith takes Dillon to a motel room, where she uses the threat of hurting Georgie to force Dillon into giving her an alibi for the time of Elizabeth's accident by claiming they are having an affair. Georgie follows Mac as he heads out to track down Faith and is devastated when she sees Dillon and Faith in a seemingly compromising position. Georgie tells Mac that Faith is forcing Dillon to provide her with an alibi. Faith warns Dillon that Georgie's life is now in danger. Elizabeth fears she will never regain her eyesight. Jason is supportive of Courtney when she confesses her fear that she has become addicted to her pain pills. With Jason by her side, Courtney throws the rest of her pills away.
Sonny is astonished when Alcazar confidently claims that Carly will fall in love with him. Alcazar sends Carly a photograph of a dented car and asks her to meet him at the docks. Dillon takes Georgie to a barn to hide out while convincing her that Faith's threat is very real. Dillon and Georgie admit that they love each other. After leaving to get food, Dillon is grabbed by Faith's men, who leave when Alcazar arrives. Dillon asks Alcazar to help him protect Georgie. A farmer discovers Georgie in his barn. Nikolas and Emily yearn for each other as she is released from the hospital. After securing a loan from Ned, Zander rents Brenda's cottage and he and Emily move in. Lydia and Nikolas are poised to consummate their marriage. Skye reunites with Ned and tries to convince him that Alexis is behind his recent incidents with underage girls. Ned believes that someone other than Alexis is setting him up. Stefan instructs Cindy to make her next move against Ned.

General Hospital was pre-empted today.
Emily and Zander are married. Emily asks Jason to protect Nikolas. Emily dreams of Nikolas as she drifts off to sleep, perhaps never to awaken again. Carly insists to Sonny that she hasn't developed any feelings for Alcazar. Dillon and Georgie discover a body floating in the water and report it to the police. Dillon identifies the corpse as one of the men who attacked Courtney. Scott accuses Sonny of having killed the men who attacked Courtney. Alone, Alcazar admits to Sonny that he ordered the deaths of the men who attacked Courtney. Sonny vows to remove Alcazar from his and Carly's lives. Courtney goes to the hospital to comfort a grieving Jason and finds Elizabeth in his arms. Alexis is shaken when Cameron voices his theory that Stefan is using her to help cover up his role in Summer's murder in exchange for reuniting her with Kristina.
In her dream, Emily kisses Nikolas and comes back from the brink of death. Not wanting to hurt him, Emily tells Zander that his love spared her from dying. Edward surprises Emily and Zander by welcoming Zander into the family. Dillon, Georgie and Maxie surprise Zander and Emily with a honeymoon in "Venice." Stefan tries to convince Nikolas and Alexis that Lydia was the mastermind behind Summer's murder. Lucky defends Lydia to Nikolas. Courtney tells Carly about seeing Jason with Elizabeth at the hospital. Carly warns Courtney to be honest with Jason and not to look for trouble where none exists. After taking one too many pain pills, Courtney picks a fight with Elizabeth and accuses her of trying to get back with Jason, who walks in on their confrontation.
Lucky convinces Nikolas of Lydia's innocence in Summer's murder. Stefan uses the promise of getting Kristina back to pressure Alexis into helping him. Alexis is unsettled when Lucky accuses her of being used by Stefan. Emily is moved when Nikolas gives her a family heirloom bracelet as a wedding gift. Emily confesses to Nikolas that she felt his love when she thought she was dying. Alexis later explains the significance of the bracelet to Emily. While searching Alcazar's apartment, Jason learns that Stefan borrowed millions of dollars from Alcazar. Acting irrational from the pain pills, Courtney pushes Jason away. Carly tries to give Courtney some much needed advice where Jason is concerned and later warns Elizabeth away from Jason. Courtney asks the doctor for more pain pills but her request is denied. Alcazar overhears Courtney and tells one of his underlings to get him a supply of pills. Carly makes it clear she wants no contact with Alcazar after he approaches her in the park.
Sonny questions Courtney's erratic behavior while urging her not to push Jason away. Courtney accepts a delivery of pain pills from the pharmacy, unaware that Alcazar had arranged it. Courtney takes one of the pills. Carly gets under Faith's skin by pointing out that Ric loves Elizabeth. After encountering Jason, Ric is convinced that Elizabeth and Jason are having an affair. Ric tells Courtney he thinks Jason and Elizabeth are seeing each other, which fuels an irrational Courtney's paranoia. Elizabeth, however, later uses Jason to further Ric's anger, which Faith overhears. After an encounter with Alcazar, a distraught Courtney gets into her car and starts to drive off. At the same time, Faith begins to drive off in her car as an angry Ric heads off in his. Elizabeth is struck by a car as she crosses the street. Alexis is suspicious when a fan of Eddie Maine's named Cindy approaches Ned on the street. Cindy is revealed to be working for Stefan. Ned later finds an apparently naked Cindy waiting in his bed.

Emily slips into a coma. Nikolas talks to a comatose Emily, who hears his words of love and tries to come back to him. Zander also talks to Emily and realizes she is pulling away from him. Lydia attempts to get Stefan's confession on tape but he is dragged away by two menacing creditors. Nikolas informs Stefan that he is going to leave Lydia and ask Emily to marry him. Stefan warns Nikolas that Nikolas' life will be in danger if he does so. Jason questions Courtney's desire to have a baby as soon as possible. Courtney is devastated when Dr. Meadows informs her that she probably won't be able to get pregnant again. Courtney later returns home and prepares to tell Jason the truth. Alcazar tells Sonny that he is in love with Carly. Sonny catches Carly in a lie after she receives a delivery of flowers from Alcazar. Faith hides Ric in a safe house and realizes that he will never love her. Faith agrees to help Ric flee the country but then forms a plan of her own and returns to the safe house with Scott
Jason is understanding when Courtney tells him the truth about her having been pregnant and how she lost the baby after jumping off Alcazar's yacht. A guilty Courtney also tells Jason she isn't able to get pregnant again. Jason assures Courtney he still loves her. As Courtney sleeps, Jason grieves for the child they lost. Carly explains to Sonny why she lied to him about Alcazar. Scott informs Sonny and Carly that he is dropping the kidnapping charges against Ric. Carly realizes Scott wants Sonny to kill Ric so that he can send Sonny to prison. Sonny warns Ric that he will get his revenge on him one day. Sonny assures Carly that he won't do anything to risk losing his family. After being rejected by Elizabeth, Ric aligns himself with Faith and they make love. Although still unconscious, Emily hears that Nikolas' life is in danger from Stefan's creditors. Wanting to protect Nikolas, Emily lies and says she loves Zander and wants to be with him. Ned reaches out to Dillon, who later admits to Georgie that he would rather work for Alcazar.
Courtney voices her fears about Jason to Carly, who later confronts Jason. Courtney overhears Jason telling Carly that he's angry Courtney didn't tell him about her pregnancy but doesn't hear Jason proclaim his undying love for her. Courtney is later shocked when Jason asks her to marry him. Nikolas realizes that Emily knows his life is in danger from Stefan's creditors when she tries to push him away. Monica informs Zander that Emily's condition is worsening. Zander asks Emily to marry him. Lydia manages to get Stefan to incriminate himself on tape. Lydia falls and is knocked unconscious as she argues with Nikolas, who sees the tape recorder containing Stefan's confession. Carly receives the gift of a backgammon board from Alcazar. Elizabeth gives Ric their divorce papers and makes it clear she wants nothing more to do with him. Scott demands that Faith keep him informed of Ric's activities in the event Ric tries to double-cross him
Jason fears Courtney is pushing him away when she insists they wait to get married. Courtney turns to Sonny for advice about Jason. Courtney confronts Jason about his true feelings over her miscarriage and runs off after accusing him of never being able to forgive her. Jason lets his anger show in front of Sonny while insisting he still loves Courtney. Meanwhile, Courtney is grabbed by Alcazar's men after inadvertently walking into the middle of their drug deal on the docks. Dillon sees Courtney's predicament and races to tell Jason. Alcazar arrives at Sonny's penthouse. Lydia tells Lucky, but not Nikolas, that she got Stefan's confession on tape. Emily accepts Zander's proposal but later calls off the wedding after Monica confirms that she is probably going to die. Dillon begins working for Ned at ELQ. AJ takes his anger out on Dillon. Ned is alarmed when he finds an onslaught of e-mails from an underage girl on his laptop computer.
Alcazar informs Sonny, Jason and Carly that Courtney has been taken to the hospital. Courtney is given pills for her neck and back pain. Overwhelmed with guilt, Courtney lashes out at Jason. After taking a pill. Courtney reconciles with Jason and they begin to make love. Sonny bristles when Carly defends Alcazar, telling him how Alcazar saved her life and the life of their unborn baby. Nikolas slyly questions Stefan after Lucky gives him the tape containing Stefan's confession. Stefan is later arrested and is stunned to learn Nikolas gave the police the evidence against him. Ned accuses Alexis of being behind his teenage stalker. Although conflicted, Emily agrees to marry Zander later that day. Emily's friends gather outside her hospital room as her wedding to Zander gets underway. Emily is poised to place the wedding band on Zander's finger when she sees Nikolas standing outside her room. Dillon's admiration for Alcazar continues to grow.
